Farm Fresh Accessibility
It started with a seed
My name is Halley. I have grown up in Richmond, Michigan for the majority of my life. A few years back I started this farm with my brother Jake as a way to get back to the Earth and reconnect our community to their food.
Jake has been blessed with an incredible opportunity to work with another local family business. I’m thankful for the help from Jake here and there throughout the season, Overall I am so excited for all he is learning in his new position! As a member of this co-op you’ll still be seeing him!
The first step in reconnecting is knowing the source and gaining confidence in their practices. Here at Heirloom Acres I practice organic no-till farming. Your family will be nourished with the best my farm has to offer each week.
A Co-op Mindset
Breaking out of a competition mindset, I believe partnering up with other local farmers, creates a community structure that we can rely on. My goal is to implement a one stop shop where you can supply your family with local organic nourishments. I’m just one person, I can confidently grow produce to feed your families and flowers to light your joy. A well rounded diet consists of more than just those items. The farmers I have, and will continue to partner with, share the same mindset. Together we are stronger. Have something you’d like to offer this community?
